  • How will my coins be packaged?
    We know that seeing your coins or their presentation box arrived damaged is one of the last things you want to see. As such we make sure that every order is well-packaged with a minimum of bubble wrap and a padded parcel or carboard box, with additional protective packaging and void filler often included.
  • What conditons are the coins in?
    All of our coins and their associated boxes/ certificates (if applicable) are in brand new condition unless clearly stated otherwise. Our personal marketing images have been made using personal spares for the collectible coins, and
  • Can I be sure your products are genuine?
    All of our products are 100% genuine guarenteed, and in mint condition unless otherwise noted. Feel free to contact us via email if you have any questions about particular products, including seeing additional photos.
  • I'm having trouble opening my coin capsule
    All of our coin capsules can be opened, but we know that coins have quite stubborn plastic capsules/ cases. Please see video from Coins and Stamps on how best to address the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW2cJujoVQk&t=33s
  • Are GST and other taxes included in prices?
    Yes, all prices on our website are inclusive of Australian GST/ taxes, but note that we are not currently required to collect them.
  • Is Chimera Coins a secure website?
    Yes, our website includes HTTPS protocols and a SSL certificate, ensuring that all communication from visitors is encrypted and completely secure.
  • Does Chimera Coins have a physical location?
    No, we don't have a physical location for the purposes of customers, but we are based in Sydney for those who are curious.
  • Do all your coins come with a plastic capsule or case?
    The vast majority of our coins come with a transparent plastic capsule or case. You can see under the product details for the coin to be sure; some of our coins do not.
  • Do you accept returns?
    We offer a 30-day money-back guarentee from time of delivery if our products are not as described on our website. We also accept returns if we have shipped incorrect products. If items have been damaged in transit, we offer a 30-day money-back guarentee if any coin or its unique accompaniments are significantly damaged. Otherwise, please contact us via email as soon as possible and we will work with you towards a positive solution.
  • How long will it take to ship my order?
    We typically ship within 3 business days for stocked items. We'll make sure you are informed regarding any foreseen (e.g. presale) or unforeseen delays to your order.
  • What are your shipping rates/ options?
    Our shipping options are: Standard shipping within Australia: 3-6 business days from dispatch $12.5, with free shipping for orders over $299 Express shipping within Australia: 1-3 business days from dispatch. $16, $4 for orders over $299, and free for orders over $599
  • Do you ship internationally?
    We do not offer international shipping by default at this time, but are open to international orders if the order value would exceed $500 AUD, excluding shipping. Please get in touch with us via email if this sounds like you.
  • Split orders/ what if part of my order isn't currently in stock?
    In the case that part of your order isn't currently in stock, by default we will delay the entire order until the lack item is ready to ship. We are also happy to offer split orders; please reply to your order confirmation email if this is something you would like. Please note any discounted shipping rates we offer may be impacted by a split order if one or more of splits would have a total value of less than our free/ discounted shipping thresholds. We will notify you if this would be the case.
