Australia’s ‘Great Race’ at Bathurst reaches a special milestone in 2023, the 60th anniversary of its first running in 1963 at the world-famous Mount Panorama circuit. Synonymous with being a test of driver and machine against the challenging circuit, and built on the rivalry between Holden and Ford, the race has made drivers and their cars into legends. The coin’s reverse captures the dynamism of the Bathurst Great Race in an expertly coloured design, featuring six race cars symbolising the six decades of battles at the legendary Mount Panorama circuit.
