Two wolves 2021, Niue 1oz antiqued silver coin
This amazing Silver coin illustrates a famous Cherokee legend.
“The wolf you feed is the wolf who wins” – this story serves as an important reminder of the power everyone has over their experiences and emotions. Two wolves – white and black – are competing on the coin. They represent our good and bad self – good and evil, which carry the eternal battle each and every day. This silver coin is full of morality. Looking at it, the question arises: “Which is the wolf you are feeding?”
The reverse design shows two wolfs fighting each other in a yin-yang pattern, one of them white and one black.Around, the inscription THE WOLF YOU FEED IS THE WOLF WHO WINS. The design is rimless (extends to the edge of the coin).
The obverse of the coin shows the crowned mature head of Queen Elizabeth II facing right (her effigy known as the "Fourth Portrait"). The Queen wears the "Girls of Great Britain and Ireland" diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty's grandmother) in 1947 - which she also has on the Machin and the Gottwald portraits.
